Privacy Policy
What data we collect
When you submit a quotation, supply and wholesale, or contact form, we store the data you enter:
- Your name and phone number.
- Your email address (optional).
- The quantity you need, the destination or city, and your notes.
- For wholesale requests: business name, country, requested category and target timing.
- The language of the page you used.
- A salted hash of your IP address, instead of the address itself, which we use to limit spam and abuse.
Our servers may also record IP addresses in technical access logs for security and operations.
Why we collect it
To respond to you, prepare a quotation and follow up on your request, and to protect the site from abuse. We do not use your data for any other purpose.
Who can see it
Authorised MIDRAR staff only. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with other parties unless that is necessary to run the website (for example hosting and visitor analytics) or required by law.
Cookies and tracking
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and understand how the site is used, such as which pages are viewed, clicks on WhatsApp links and form submissions. This places analytics cookies (such as `_ga`) in your browser, and Google processes this usage data on our behalf. We do not send your name, phone number or email address to Google.
Google signals and ad personalisation are turned off, and we do not use advertising cookies. You can prevent analytics by blocking or deleting cookies in your browser settings, or by installing Google's opt-out add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
Strictly necessary technical cookies are used only in the staff administration area.
Retention
We keep inquiries and the related contact details for 24 months unless MIDRAR decides otherwise.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data by contacting us through the channels published on the Contact page, quoting your request reference if you have one.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, and the date of the latest update is shown on the page.
