Who we are and why Sudan

MIDRAR is a Sudanese company that raises sheep in Al Jazirah State, Sudan, and exports them to Saudi Arabia. We work with importers and wholesalers, and through them with restaurants, butcheries and stores.

Sudanese sheep are the desert sheep well known in the Saudi market, including red (Hamari) and white types. They are in high demand at peak seasons, especially before Eid al-Adha, and many prefer their leaner meat compared with fat-tailed breeds.

What we export

  • Live sheep with measured weights; every batch shows its live weight, measurement date and available quantity.
  • Slaughter-ready batches for restaurants and butcheries, and lambs for fattening for breeders and feedlots.
  • See the batches available now and their per-head prices on the livestock page.

From Port Sudan to Jeddah Islamic Port

The sheep are shipped by sea from Port Sudan and arrive at Jeddah Islamic Port in Saudi Arabia, where they go through veterinary inspection and quarantine before release and handover to the importer.

Before any commitment we confirm with you who holds the import permit, and the timing. As these are live animals, sheep cannot be returned after delivery, so acceptance and inspection terms are agreed in the quotation.
