How much meat does a Sudanese sheep yield?
A table converting live weight to approximate carcass weight, and what raises or lowers the dressing percentage.

In short: carcass weight is usually about 45–50% of live weight. A 25 kg live Sudanese sheep gives roughly 11–12.5 kg of carcass; boneless meat is less. The percentage varies with age, condition and fasting before slaughter.
| Live weight | Carcass at 45% | at 50% |
|---|---|---|
| 20 kg | 9 kg | 10 kg |
| 25 kg | 11.25 kg | 12.5 kg |
| 30 kg | 13.5 kg | 15 kg |
| 35 kg | 15.75 kg | 17.5 kg |
| 40 kg | 18 kg | 20 kg |
